La Biancara Garg'N'Go 2020
La Biancara was born in 1988 by Angiolino Maule and his wife, Rosamaria. Before, they had worked for twelve years as pizza makers, but now they are dedicating themselves to the viticulture, their passion. At the beginning of 80s they bought a plot of land, about six hectares, in the hills of Sorio di Gambellara, where they built their house and winery. In these first years they planted a lot of their vineyards. Both in the vineyard and the cellar nature is the core idea of their wine philosophy. Now, Angiolino works with his elder sons: Francesco and Alessandro. Currently, the expansion of the vineyards owned is about eleven hectares and four hectares are rented, two of these are on Sossano’s hills (Colli Berici), an ideal area to cultivate Grenache. All the vineyards are between 90 and 260 metres above sea level.
They believe that the natural quality of wine is achieved through the vineyards; it is essential to return to a wine growing and enological culture without chemical substances to produce a more typical, unique and inimitable wine, in stark contrast to the standardisation and homogenisation of the majority of the wine on the market. Their vineyards are totally managed with respect for nature.
Produced with Garganega vinified in steel, bottled at the end of February and fermented again in bottle. For the re-fermentation they use garganega must, obtained from dried grapes, rich in sugars and native yeasts. No added sulphites.
